QUICK ANSWERS
What does Judd Java taste like?
Smooth and crisp with citrus and berry undertones and subtle sweetness. A naturally processed Ethiopian Yirgacheffe with bright acidity and floral notes. Refreshing from the first sip.
Who is Judd Java named after?
Judd Java was created in partnership with Sheriff Grady Judd of Polk County, Florida. We sat with the Sheriff and gave him four roasts in a blind taste test. He chose the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe himself. Every bag of Judd Java supports the Polk County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit.
What makes Dark Horse coffee premium?
We source from the top 10% of coffee beans in the world. Small-batch roasted to order — no sitting on shelves, no stale bags. You taste the difference because the sourcing standard demands it.
How much caffeine is in Judd Java?
Around 90mg per 8oz — standard for a quality light roast. Clean, consistent lift without the intensity of a high-caffeine blend. Built to do the job without knocking you sideways.
What size options are available?
Colombian is available in a 12oz bag, a 5lb bulk bag, and Keurig compatible fuel pods in 12, 60, and 120 count. Free shipping on orders $75 and above. Subscribe to the 60-count pods and shipping is always free.
Does my Judd Java purchase support law enforcement?
Every bag of Judd Java specifically supports the Polk County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit. Sheriff Grady Judd calls K9 units the tip of the spear — first into danger. Your purchase helps fund their training and equipment.
Can I get Judd Java as a subscription?

I've become a fan of your coffee and swag over the past year
I've become a fan of your coffee and swag over the past year. The fact that some proceeds go to supporting K9 teams make it even better. Grateful that I found you. Keep up the good work! Chuck in AZ.

Great Customer Service Will Be Shopping Again
While I was washing my lid for my “Out of Bullets” tumbler the lid fell apart. I reached out to Darkhorse and was only expecting a replacement lid. When I received the email that I was getting a replacement tumbler w/lid I was to say the least shocked and amazed as this tumbler is a very good quality. This is what customer service is all about going above and beyond the customers expectations. I will be shopping more with DHCC. Great Experience and Awesome Customer Service. I also love the personalized note that came inside the box. It made me feel like a VIP.

I absolutely love everything about this kit
I absolutely love everything about this kit. As all of their shirts, perfect fit every time. Coffee is delicious as always. The cup is top notch. The best thing about all of this is that it supports the sheriff’s department.

The sweatshirt is a great weight and seems to be high-quality. The shipping process was without issue. The added coffee was a nice bonus.
